The bear looked around the forest. Not for the first time he wondered why he was wearing the coat and hat, but he was a stubborn bear who didn’t like change. He tugged the hat off his head, inside the sandwiches still sat. He wiped his brow with the back of his paw and continued to walk.
He had been hunting for days, and so far he had not found a sign. The bear was loosing patience with the hunt and wanted to go home and put his boot up the agent who gave him the bad information. Good night.The man continued to walk across the deserted plane. It was all he could think of to do. Walk to the great mountain in the distance where a light shined atop. How long had he been walking? He could not say, days weeks possibly, always trying to reach the light. His name was James Lane and he could not remember how he got himself into this predicament. He supposed the world must have ended while he was asleep, a nuclear disaster did not seem right, he was still here after all. Though he seemed to be the only one left. Page one On page one we find Georgia and Samuel at the side of the road having car trouble. Georgia is working on the engine, Samuel offers her a hand but she declines because she is angry at him for driving too fast and ruining the engine. So Samuel sits there and plays with his coin.
